Hyperthermia
Etiology
- Heat stroke
- Neuroleptic malignant syndrome
- Malignant hyperthermia (anesthetic-associated)
- Serotonin syndrome, eg, SSRI used with monoamine oxidase inhibitor
- Other drugs: anticholinergics, antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, salicylates, amphetamines, cocaine, PCP, LSD
- Thyrotoxicosis
- Prolonged seizures
