- Hypertensive retinopathy
- Radiation retinopathy
- Retinal vein occlusion
- Anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, eg, temporal (giant cell) arteritis
- Sickle cell retinopathy
- Retinopathy of severe anemia
- Retinopathy due to autoimmune disease, eg, systemic lupus erythematosus
- Emboli from IV drug use (talc retinopathy)
- Eales’ disease (idiopathic retinal vasculitis)
