Adult male: 60–850 pg/mL
Adult female: premenopausal 60–650 pg/mL; postmenopausal 104–1010 pg/mL (age and laboratory-specific).

Fasting specimen is preferred. For patients on supplement biotin (>5 mg/day), specimen should not be collected until >8 hr after the last dose.
