Eosinophilia
Etiology
- Drug hypersensitivity
- Allergic state, eg, asthma, urticaria, atopic dermatitis
- Tissue invasion by parasites, eg, ascariasis, visceral larva migrans
- Other skin disorder, eg, pemphigoid, dermatitis herpetiformis
- Malignancy, especially lymphoma
- Connective tissue disease, eg, Churg-Strauss syndrome, polyarteritis nodosa, eosinophilic fasciitis
- Eosinophilic pulmonary syndrome
- Fungal infection, eg, coccidioidomycosis
- Idiopathic
- Other: adrenal insufficiency, cholesterol emboli, eosinophilic leukemia
