Aplastic anemia
Etiology
- "Idiopathic" (probably autoimmune)
- Drugs: chloramphenicol, phenylbutazone, gold salts, sulfonamides, phenytoin, carbamazepine, quinacrine, tolbutamide
- Viruses: hepatitis, EBV, HIV, parvovirus B19
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Chemotherapy, radiotherapy
- Toxins: benzene, toluene, insecticides
- Posthepatitis
- Pregnancy
- Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria
- Congenital (rare)
