Parotid swelling due to other causes, eg, calculi, bacteria, diabetes, cirrhosis, Sjögren’s syndrome, sarcoidosis, tumor, starch ingestion, bulimia
Lymphadenopathy (eg, from conjunctivitis, otitis media, sinusitis)
Lymphocytic choriomeningitis
Aseptic meningitis, pancreatitis, or orchitis due to other causes
