- "Indigestion" from overeating, high-fat foods, coffee
- Other drugs: aspirin, antibiotics (eg, macrolides, metronidazole), corticosteroids, digoxin, narcotics, theophylline
- Gastroparesis
- Lactase deficiency
- Malabsorption

- Parasitic infection, eg, Giardia, Strongyloides, Ascaris
