  • Superior mediastinal tumor: lung, lymphoma, thyroid, thymoma, teratoma, synovial cell carcinoma, angiosarcoma
  • Constrictive pericarditis
  • Thrombophlebitis due to central venous catheter or pacemaker wires
  • Chronic fibrotic mediastinitis: idiopathic, tuberculosis, histoplasmosis, pyogenic infection, drugs
  • Aortic arch aneurysm
  • Substernal goiter
